In our Science lesson this week we have learnt about the different senses and we explored different things using our senses.
We used our eyes to look for Christmas clues….
We then used our ears to listen to different sounds…
We then used our noses to smell different things….
Then we had to use our hands to feel what was hiding in the bags!
Year 1 have come into school with their Christmas jumpers today! They all look wonderful.
Year 4 are feeling festive today in their Christmas jumpers. All of the children look great.
This week in Foundation Stage 2 we have continued our work about 2D shapes and learning the properties of different shapes.
We have made shapes using peg boards and elastic bands.
We then used our shape knowledge to make shape pictures.
We started the week in Foundation Stage enjoying the snow!
In class 4 we have been feeling very Christmassy! The day started with Mrs Isherwood giving us all a brand new Christmas pencil. This afternoon we have decorated our class Christmas tree, finished our class gingerbread house and started sewing our annual Christmas tree decoration.
