Today Year 5 learnt a range of playground and skipping games. They’re really looking forward to playing these and teaching the other children how to skip with the big rope.

Today the children have learnt how to skip. They were taught each step of skipping and put them all together at the end of the lesson.

This morning we learnt some new skipping skills. Zoe came in and gave us tips and tricks to skip, jump and leap.

Today Year 5 have learnt to use Force meters to measure friction. They measured the friction of shoes on different surfaces. Force is measured in Newtons with the sandpaper creating more than the other materials.

Today we celebrated Children in Need day by wearing our pyjamas.

Today Year 5 learnt about Jesus and his miracles. Using actions we acted as disciples with big hands. Ismail played Lazarus who got came back from the dead. We had a shepherd who lost her sheep. These stories told us about the parables. We played a game show where we had to guess what people thought Jesus was.

Today the children in Year 1 came to school in their pyjamas to raise money for children in need.

The children in Year 1 came to school in their odd socks to support anti-bullying week.

They also created their very own odd socks using paint and rolling a marble.

Gymnastics coach Karen came in today to teach us a super lesson on how to improve our gymnastics.

Today Year 4 paid their respect in remembrance for Armistice Day. Following the art of the Romans the children created poppies in the style of a mosaic. We then laid our poppies down with our fallen soldier alongside Year 3. Shortly after Year 6 also came to pay their respect and read some poems they created at home.
