On Thursday Year 2 had a very exciting day. They left school bright and early to look for historical buildings in town. Following this they had a very interesting visit to Congleton Museum, where they learnt about the town’s history from neanderthal times up until World War II. By 12pm they were super hungry and the fantastic staff in our school kitchen had provided them with a delicious picnic lunch. After eating in the Band Stand. They completed their visit with a play on the park’s playground and returned to school. Some children said it was their, ‘Best trip ever!’ It was lovely to be out in our local community again- We can’t wait for the next one!Mrs Radcliffe would like to say a big thank you to the children for making the day such a fantastic experience. 10/10 for best behaviour and fun times.
