Today in an experiment we learnt that if we take one breath a long balloon will only fill a little but if you blow away from the ballon the air will also go in.
Tonight our new cooking club started by making a tropical island with bananas,apples and oranges. We used our cutting skills to cut and slice. Then we made cheese on toast.
Last week we started to learn about the physical geography of Greece. We researched lots of facts about Greece and began to compare modern and Ancient Greece.
Some of the class are beginning to finish the bags they have designed. They thought about how they wanted to put handles on, if they wanted a pocket and which material to use.
Some of the children in our class celebrated Eid last week. One of the girls had her hands decorated with henna designs. This is called Mehndi, this is a fun part of the celebrations for girls and boys.
This week in our Early Years PE session we practiced making shapes with our bodies. The children explored making stretched shapes and curled shapes. The children then had to balance along a bench in a stretched shape or in a curled shape.
Year 3 have been exploring Royal Portraits and have created their own Portrait of King CharlesIii. Some of these will be entered into the Rotary Club Art competition.
