We have been having some Christmas fun in Year 5 today. These are some of the photos we took with the Christmassy props!
As part of our work on Remembrance, all the children of Year 5 created a wonderful piece of artwork.
Earlier this year in Year 5 all the children drew a self portrait of themselves.
This morning in Year 5 we have been practicing our drawing and sketching skills linked to our Viking topic.
Year 6 braved the cold weather for one last time in 2021. After a vigorous run to warm up the children then split into teams and competed in mixed mini games of football and netball. This allowed them to show off their ball handling skills which have been developed this half term.
Year 6 have celebrated Christmas today in school. We have performed our Christingle service, had a lovely turkey dinner, played a number of Christmas party games and made the longest paper chains using only one piece of paper. Our day finished with lovely gift bags courtesy of Mrs Isherwood and the school governors. Thank You from all the Year 6.
Congratulations to Tilly who won the Morrisons Christmas colouring competition!
A lovely Christmas dinner in class 4.
This week we have sanded, painted and decorated our Christmas blocks. We love all of the designs. Some children did an Eid celebration one.
Over the last couple of weeks we have been sewing our gingerbread house Christmas decoration, don’t they look great?
