Today is Year 6’s last day. They have had an amazing year and time at Marlfields. The children should be exceptionally proud of all their achievements and we wish them luck and happiness for their bright futures ahead.

Thank you Year 2 for such a super hardworking year 👍
Class 2 enjoyed making Ferris wheels on Thursday.
On Friday a team of staff and children went to Tatton park to build up the school garden in preparation for the RHS flower show.
The Year 6’s put on a superb performance on Wednesday night. They were all stars and dazzled the audience with their energetic singing and dancing. Stanley Marvel (Matteo) was a clumsy clot but always dreamed of being a superhero. With a dose of secret formula and a pair of anti-gravity pants from his gran (Nevaeh) he crushed the Candy King (Leo) and saved the planet!
The children in EYFS have been very lucky this week they have had a brand new climbing frame built. The children love it and want to say a very big thank you to Mrs Isherwood and The Governors.
On Wednesday we had a visit from Jenny from Congleton library, she told us all about the summer reading challenge and year 4 and 2 were invited to the library to choose some books.
Class 4 had the best time during sports day.
We looked at how rolling toys moved and decided where to place our axels to create a smooth or dithering ride. We learnt about how to join two components. Using either small tabs or brackets.
Year 6 took part in their last sports day at Marlfields Primary Academy and a good time was had by all.
Today the children had an amazing time competing in their sports day. Thank you to the effort of Ministry for Sport for organizing the day. The children all had fun even though the hot sun was beating on us and the temperature was rising. Plenty of water, lots of competition and everyone had a wonderful time.
There was even time for an ice pop pit stop. Yay!!
This morning Year 1 took part in sports day. We had so much fun completing all the activities and enjoyed cheering each other on.
