Anti-bullying in Year 6

The children have worked hard this week on anti-bullying and after a few live lessons in class the children have taken inspiration to create a graffiti wall. Spreading the message of how we can ‘Reach Out’ each child has left their mark on the wall and hope that the rest of the school will be able to look at it and the message from Year 6 will be passed on.

Jumping to success!

Holly G in Year 6 jumped her way to 2nd place in the North Staffordshire Trampolining Club Competition at the weekend. Her routine involved: a front landing, straddle jump, seat landing, half twist, tuck jump, pike jump and a back landing! What a fantastic achievement – well done Holly!

Netball

The netball team tried really hard in the first league night of the year yesterday. They played Saint Mary’s first, unfortunately losing 5~0 but pulled it back in the second match against Smallwood to get a draw of 0~0.

Great teamwork, netballers! Players’ Player of the matches went to Thomas!

Year 6 Production – THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN!

The Year 6’s put on a superb performance on Wednesday night. They were all stars and dazzled the audience with their energetic singing and dancing. Stanley Marvel (Matteo) was a clumsy clot but always dreamed of being a superhero. With a dose of secret formula and a pair of anti-gravity pants from his gran (Nevaeh) he crushed the Candy King (Leo) and saved the planet!

Boreatton Park Day 3

The children started the day with a game of Wacky races. They had a range of challenges to complete whilst racing in teams.

Our final activity was Jacob’s ladder. Each child climbed the ladder whilst the other children were belaying.

The children have had a fabulous time at Boreatton Park. They have been amazing and we’re really proud of their achievements.
