This week the children asked if we could make our own vegetable soup, using the vegetables from our talk for writing story ‘Supertato’. We thought about what equipment we needed and why it is important to wash our hands before touching food.
We then all had a go at chopping carrots, potatoes, courgettes and broccoli and added the peas at the end. The soup was then cooked and we ate it for snack. It was so good that Lacey and Alex each went for a third helping!
